Technology assets are safely held in escrow by Iron Mountain

Traditional on-premise software delivery model:

When a licensee enters into a technology escrow contract, the source code to be protected is placed in a secure escrow held by Iron Mountain. If a release condition occurs - whether through a product end-of-life announcement or a merger, acquisition, or strategic partnership - the licensee simply contacts Iron Mountain and requests a release. Depending on how the escrow contract is structured, Iron Mountain will contact the depositor and, if there is no contention, release the source code to the licensee.

SaaS delivery model:

When a subscriber enters into a SaaS agreement, the source code and object code to be protected are placed in a secure escrow held by Iron Mountain. Acting in this intermediary role, Iron Mountain helps document and maintain the integrity of the SaaS provider's intellectual property and the subscriber's data, while ensuring the subscriber has access to those assets under specific, controlled demand release conditions resulting in increased control and leverage, and added protection for all parties. The subscriber's data is protected through Iron Mountain's LiveVault server backup and recovery service, ensuring data is always safe and accessible.
